A Night To Remember ~ A Prom especially for student with special needs

WHAT IS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER?

We believe everyone should be celebrated!

A Night to Remember is a prom-like experience designed to celebrate teens and adults with special needs. Participation is completely free of charge, and includes dresses, tuxedos, make-up, hairstyling, jewelry, corsages and boutonnières, limo rides, a walk down the carpet with a cheering crowd, photography, a gift bag, snacks and a night of dancing!  It truly is a night to remember!

 

This year's event details:
WHEN:    Sunday, May 6, 2018 @ 6:00 PM
WHERE:  Monona Terrace, 1 John Nolen Drive, Madison, WI
WHO:  Teens and adults (ages 14 and up) with special needs in the greater Madison area
COST:     Free!

 

Guests can expect: 
•             Tuxedos & Gowns. (Fitting happen ahead of the event)
•             Hair, Makeup, Jewelry, and Flowers
•             Professional Photos
•             Limo Ride around the Capital Square
•             Walking the red carpet
•             Dancing
•             Appetizers & Snacks

Special Education Plan  - The Department of Student Services is developing a Special Education Plan to ensure a more comprehensive and thoughtful approach to how we serve students with disabilities in the district.
